Shootout Stumper
And welcome back. We are left with Doug Morris and Jay Lewis as we proceed to the Bumper Stumpers Shootout.
Here's how we decide our winner today. We will show you one more plate. Only the first letter is initially given. This time, you must buzz-in (with a number 1 to 500) if you think you have a responce. But...you only get ONE CHANCE to solve it...so make it count.
If neither of you buzzes in after a time, we'll insert two letters and give you a one-word clue about the plate. The one who buzzes-in with the correct plate wins the game and goes on to the Stumper Seven and a shot at CY$50,000 for himself and a "home viewer".
Very well...hands on buzzers...here's the Shootout plate:

(Host) (Putts) (?????) |
An "N", a"2"...and "Putts"...

Jay!
Jay: "Hole in One or Two"
Is it "Hole in One-or-Two"?
(DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING)
(Host) (Putts) (Twice) |
Jay Lewis, you've won the Shootout!
"HOL" is "Hole", N+1 is "In One", R for "Or" and 2 for...well, for "Two". A favorite game played for a car on "The Price Is Right" where the host putts first and the contestant can putt twice to become an "auto winner": "Hole In One-Or-Two".
Doug, you fought well in your own game. Seven tournament points goes to you and I'd say you have a great chance of making the semis. Thanks for playing.
Jay, you did it again. First "FastTalkers" and now this. And you're going for up to CY$50,000 in the bonus round after this.
