Stumper Seven
Welcome back to Net Bumper Stumpers. Jay Lewis is here in the bonus round for the second straight time. He is assuredly in the semi-finals of the Marathon and he's won CY$8750. And, now, he's trying for CY$50,000 for himself and a "home viewer".
The bonus round is divided, like in "FastTalkers" into two seperate rounds. First is the "Stumper Seven". We have seven plates left to solve. For each of the first six, you better your chances of winning CY$10,000. The seventh one is the "Ultimate Stumper" and solving that will make the jackpot CY$50,000 whether you solve the other six or not.
So, if you're ready, let's get to the Stumper Seven!
Here are the plates and the clues for who each one belongs to. The one with the red clue is the Ultimate Stumper. You may pass on any plateand get back to it if there's time (within ten tries):

Oh, you missed one...let's go over them one-by-one:
Stan Lee: "Excelsior", his personal motto. X+SEL+C+R..."EXCELSIOR!"
A donut maker is "Baker's Dozen". B(long A)KRS for "baker's", and 12 makes a "dozen". Donuts are sometimes sold in packs of 13 called a "baker's dozen".
You missed the one for a repair man...you were so CLOSE. It's "Maintenance". M(long A)N+(Roman numeral for "ten")+Ns. A repairman does "maintenance".
Tom Cruise's plate says "Hail Xenu"...though I don't think Xenu's a "Big Giant Head"...that's Shatner. Anyway...H(long A)L for "Hail", Z+NU for "Xenu". Tom Cruise is a Scientologist and he WOULD "Hail Xenu", the diety of the religion.
A xenophobe...got it on the second pass: "Fear foreigners". F(long E)R for "fear", 4+N+RZ for "foreigners". Xenophobia is an irrational fear of anything foreign...hence a xenophobe would "fear foreigners".
A "grand old Flagg" is indeed "Fannie" (or "Fanny"). F(short A)N+E for "Fannie" Flagg, long time panelist of "Match Game".
And the Ultimate Stumper you got the second time: "Four Seasons". Four Cs+Ns..."Four Seas-ons", which is what Mother Nature turns in.
Well done, Jay. Missed one Stumper so an extra "STOP" Sign will be in the Final Stumper. But you got the Ultimate Stumper which means you'll be PLAYING said Final Stumper for CY$50,000!
