Very rarely does a game show get revived with the same host on the same network and made by the same company. "Scrabble", based on the tile-based "crossword game" of the same name, is one of those titles.

What is ALSO rare is a netgame reviving over and over again, as if no one wants to see it die. "Net Scrabble" is one of those netgames. Started by Don Smith, "Net Scrabble" brought the NBC hit gameshow to the internet screen. His version didn't last too long, but people like Trevor Roe, Brian Moore, Anson Grimes and Nolan Slover have attempted revivals over and over again.

The use of tiles, "stoppers" and "speedwords" were prevelent in all versions from 1999 to 2004. Players used letters to build words which are based on a clue. The words in a round are connected to each other just like words on a Scrabble board. Get three words right, you got to a bonus game. Nothing could be simplier to play...yet so hard to make into a netgame.

And yet, it is the netgame that refused to give up the ghost...and so it seems the PERFECT netgame for the Finals! Tonight, our Finalists take on the "stoppers" and weed through the tiles in an attempt to become NETGAME MARATHON CHAMPION!!!

TONIGHT, "NETGAME MARATHON" PRESENTS "NET SCRABBLE"!
